Between the world of men and transcendent divinity there exists art. Art is the will to truth made physically manifest. It is more real then Reality. It is a dialogue triumphant over Time. – Andre Malraux

Deadly Beauty

With her latest victim's blood splattering the wall, you would be wise to keep a distance from this female vampire should you meet her in a dark alleyway!

This illustration was the second to be done for my gothic vampire series, Red Death, drawn exclusively in black and white with a touch of red. This image was used by DNA Publications as the cover of the Spring 1997 edition of the magazine Dreams of Decadence.

This image was used as an interior for the 1997 edition of An Ancient Death is the Most Beautiful, a vampire chapbook.

Ancient Blood

This illustration is the ninth image for my gothic vampire series, Red Death.  This image captures a medieval beauty in a time and place long since gone.  She has lived for many centuries, all the while her thirst for blood has never ceased.

My favorite part of this piece was the fun I had with the stained glass window in the background!

Blood Shades

This illustration is the seventh image for my gothic vampire series, Red Death, drawn exclusively in black and white with a touch of red.  It captures a beautiful female vampire out exploring the nightlife, hiding her bloodlust behind a pair of sunglasses. Be forewarned!

This image was an interior illustration in the 1996 gothic quarterly magazine, Evernight.

Awaiting the Century

This illustration is the sixth image for my gothic vampire series, Red Death.  This image started out being a Vampire the Masquerade illustration for a friend of mine who was playing a vampire from the Ventrue clan.  The reception of it went over so well that I adopted it into my series, Red Death, drawn exclusively in black and white with a touch of red.

This image was also the back cover of the 1996 edition of (Im)mortal, a vampire poetry chap book.

This image was an interior illustration for the Spring 1997 edition of Dreams of Decadence, a national newsstand publication.

Duran Duran: Rose Arcana

This illustration is the fouth image for my gothic vampire series, Red Death.  Interestingly enough, the title of this illustration is inspired by the song of the same name on the album So Red the Rose by the Duran Duran spinoff band, Arcadia.

A pen & ink version of this piece was published in the 1996 chap book A Free Heart then later in the 1997 edition of An Ancient Death is the Most Beautiful, a vampire chap book.
