In Umbram - Sketch
'In Umbram' is Latin for "Into Shadow" and my finished illustration will depict a male demon wielding a spear with a conspiracy of ravens around him. In the background there is a stained glass window scene of fire erupting out of the earth with a thunderstorm above hurling bolts of lightning. This painting is part of my triptych series Bellum Lucis et Umbrae (The Battle of Light and Shadow) and will be painted in oil.
