Brandon Lee Portrait

This illustration is part of a portfolio set created to pay tribute to the memory of two extraordinary martial artists and action film stars.  Never again will the world know a father and son such as Bruce and Brandon Lee.  The legacy they leave behind will be remembered for all time. 

This portfolio, called "The Little Dragon", consists of six illustrations; three images of Bruce Lee (from The Green Hornet, Enter the Dragon, and a portrait) and three images of Brandon Lee (from The Crow, Rapid Fire, and a portrait).

Auguste Coronne Bust

In 2011, my Drawing I class went  to the Blanton Art Museum located at the University of Texas campus.  We spent a few hours in the sculpture gallery to do figure drawing.  I have a passion for ancient history, particularly Greek, Roman, and Egyptian history, so this was my favorite part of the field trip that day.

The Kiss

This illustration was another tribute to one of my early influences,  Patrick Nagel.  In the 80's you couldn't walk or shop anywhere without seeing his art.  I was mesmerized by the simplicity of his paintings and the beauty of his female models. 

One day I was curious as to what his style would lend to a vampire illustration and the results were amazing.  I ended up creating a lot of these and will share them all as they were incredibly fun to create.  This one is called "The Kiss".  Enjoy!
